Bernie Smolnik

(1958 - present) 

Farm raised in the gentle mountains of Vermont.

Transplanted into the Asheville scene in 2004. 

Opportunity struck in 2009 to be imersed into the growing art movement in the River Arts District working along side Jonas Gerard in a variety of roles from sales, commercial and residential installations, studio assistant and more until 2018. 

The remainder of 2018 until the beginning of 2023 in the wood world helping to shape and grow Foundation Woodworks. 

I have always had a fascination with photography. For the image, not the technicalities. 

I have shown various aspects of my photos in several galleries and venues throughout the last decade or more.
