"In my work, I fuse my love of abstract expressionism in a maximal way. Using vibrant color and extreme texture, I create great detail which is engaging and asks the viewer to participate visually in the energy of the scene. I find that working in layers, adds depth to the painting while adding fun to the process. I strive to create work that is both dynamic and has great stopping power." .C.V
